Cookie Policy

This policy covers the Tradevero website at tradevero.co.nz, the portal at portal.tradevero.nz and the CheckSetDone phone app. It says what each one keeps in your browser or on your phone, why, and for how long. None of them use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics that follow you around the web.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website keeps in your browser. Browser storage is the same idea without the file: the site keeps a short note in your browser. This policy calls both of them cookies, because they do the same job and you clear them the same way.
The website
The website at tradevero.co.nz keeps only what it needs to work.

The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Google receives your internet address when a page loads, as with any file your browser fetches, and sets no cookie for it.
The portal
The portal at portal.tradevero.nz keeps these once you use it.

If you turn on notifications in the portal, your browser also keeps the permission and a subscription for them. Turn notifications off in the portal or in your browser settings.
The phone app
The app uses no cookies. It keeps your sign-in in the phone's secure storage, and your settings, the notification hours you chose and the newest copy of these documents on the phone. Signing out removes your sign-in. Deleting the app removes the rest.
Your choice on the website
The website asks on your first visit, at the bottom of the page. Accept all and Only necessary both keep the website working. Today the website sets nothing beyond what it needs, so both answers set the same things. If Tradevero ever adds analytics or advertising, the message asks you again, and only Accept all turns them on. Change your answer any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Clearing them
Your browser's settings clear cookies and site data for one site or for all of them. Clearing the portal's signs you out. Clearing the website's forgets your unfinished application on that device, and the resume link in your email still brings it back.
Changes and contact
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes and the new version applies from then. Questions go to the Tradevero team through your usual contact.
